The Neotec project focuses on the potential of the ECOMESH panel. There are four key aspects that EndeF has developed during 2016.
- Study and redesign of the heat recovery system that incorporates the hybrid ECOMESH panel: improves efficiency and reduces weight and its costs.
- Design and construction of a lamination furnace adapted to hybrid solar panels. This equipment is used in the assembly process. Now, it is a furnace adapted from the glass industry, with which the panels suffer many thermal stresses. It is necessary to increase the manufacturing capacity with an oven in which the panels do not suffer these stresses and adapt to the geometry of the hybrid panels.
- Study and construction of a pilot plant for the integration of these panels with a heat pump: an optimal solution for the final consumer that EndeF wants to launch on the market.
- Final design and approval of an own monitoring and control system: a new product adapted to the panel that brings solar reality closer to the final consumer.
This work presents the design and construction of one of the 4 pilot plants developed within the framework of the European LowUP project. The pilot plant is located in the Acciona Infraestructuras offices in Seville and can supply heating, electricity and sanitary hot water. Includes 4 new systems to reduce emissions: photovoltaic solar panels with heat recovery kit with phase change material (PCM), a stratified accumulation tank optimized to work with different sources, underfloor heating at low temperature, unit of gray water heat recovery.
