We are very pleased to announce our participation in the 12th edition of the “International Conference on Solar Energy for Buildings and Industry”, the EuroSun 2018. It is a forum where scientists, engineers, architects and representatives of industry and companies present and discuss their latest discoveries, developments and prospects for the future. This time it’s time to go to Rapperswil (Switzerland), where the University of Applied Sciences will be our host from September 10th to13th.
Our colleagues Isabel Guedea and Raquel Simón will be in charge of conveying the result of EndeF’s R&D efforts. Attendees will enjoy the presentation of their research on the effect on the thermal and electrical behavior of the inclusion of phase change material in hybrid solar panels. Throughout their presentation they will present the data obtained after comparing the behavior of hybrid panels with and without phase change material, in panels of several generations; in a paper entitled “Experimental Research of Hybrid Solar Panels with Phase Change Material”.

This research is part of the LowUp project, funded by the European Union. It is a consortium of organizations and companies whose purpose is to develop and demonstrate three new efficient heating and cooling technologies that are capable of significantly reducing CO2 emissions and the consumption of non-renewable energy.
