EndeF carried out the installation of a monitoring system for electricity production in the 11.5 MW photovoltaic plant located on the roofs of the Generals Motors factory in Figueruelas, Zaragoza.
The photovoltaic plant, the second largest in the world on a roof with an extension of about 320,000 square meters (equivalent to about 42 soccer fields), produces approximately 15 million kilowatt-hours a year, which from now on can be closely monitored by the operator of the plant, which will make its management and maintenance extremely easy.
The monitoring system will allow the operator to see from remote access and in real-time the electrical production parameters of the different sections of the plant, compare data and detect possible failures in it. In addition, a meteorological station was installed to obtain detailed information on in situ solar radiation values.
