Hybrid solar installation in a fire station of Zaragoza

Thanks to the installation of 28 ECOMESH hybrid solar panels on the roof of Fire Station 1from Zaragoza city has become the first city in Spain where this type of technology has been installed in a public building.

This installation will mean annual savings in electricity consumption of 9,618 kWh and 31,184 kWh of thermal energy. Regarding CO2 emissions, a reduction of about 18.6 tons per year is expected. From the City Council itself, this technology has been chosen due to the “great consumption of sanitary hot water required by the main fire station in the city, added to the characteristics of the space available on the roof of the building.”

The works carried out in this project consisted of:

Execution of installation of 28 hybrid solar panels on the roof of the building, with the corresponding coupling bench to the roof.
Installation of the hydraulic circuit, from the deck to the tank located in the basement.
Installation of the electrical system related to the photovoltaic production of the hybrid plates
Coupling of the accumulation tank with the rest of the current thermal installation.
The installed equipment consists of:

28 x ECOMESH 2nd generation hybrid solar panel
1 x Nominal 8.2 kW Fronius Symo grid-tie inverter. Three-phase without a transformer.
4 x Inclined structure for 7 panels.
